Fall 2026 Issue
Welcome to my Explorer's Journal
Every trip changes me a little.
There are the kilometers traveled, of course. The sunrises that begin in the cold, the long days spent waiting for the perfect light, the unexpected encounters with wildlife, the breathtaking landscapes… But above all, there’s everything these moments leave behind: emotions, stories, and a perspective that evolves with each expedition.
That's exactly what I wanted to share with you.
Four times a year, I invite you to turn these pages as if you were opening an expedition journal… and to travel with me beyond the image.
Here, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at my travels, the stories behind some of my photographs, the projects that inspire me, memorable events, new collaborations, and the moments that shape my artistic journey.
More than just a summary of my past few months, I hope this journal will make you feel as though you’re traveling alongside me—stopping for a few moments to take in a view, encounter an animal, or discover a place that has left a deep impression on me.
Thank you for being part of this adventure. I hope that each installment will allow you to delve a little deeper into my world… and, who knows, maybe even inspire you to explore the world with fresh eyes.
Enjoy the read,
Fanny B

Dear friends,
Fall is slowly setting in, with its changing colors and that natural urge to slow down a bit, look back, and savor the journey so far.
The past few months have been full of emotions, encounters, and discoveries. Between the opening of my first exhibition, my involvement with a cause close to my heart, and an inspiring trip to Iceland, the summer has left me with precious memories and many special moments
memorable.
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to revisit them with me in this very first fall edition of the Explorer’s Journal.
Looking Back on My First Exhibition
On June 5, a dream came true.
After more than six months of preparation, brainstorming, and working closely with my team and WOW Production, I had the pleasure of unveiling my very first solo exhibition at an opening reception at Le Mirage Golf Club.
We wanted to offer much more than just an exhibition: we wanted to create a truly immersive experience, where every guest could journey through my photographs and feel the emotions I experience when I’m behind my lens.
“Seeing the guests’ reactions, hearing them share their impressions, and sensing that they were moved by my work was the greatest gift of all.”

26
For this occasion, 26 works were suspended from the ceiling of the Mirage—a first in the history of the Golf Club. This bold display transformed the room into a veritable aerial gallery, inviting visitors to discover the photographs from a new perspective and to let themselves be transported into my world.
That evening will remain etched in my memory. It marks the beginning of an adventure I’ve long dreamed of sharing, and it confirms that art has this unique power to evoke emotions, spark conversations, and bring people together around a shared perspective.
To everyone who was there, THANK YOU for being a part of this very special moment. Your presence, your encouragement, and your stories remind me every day why I do this job.
"When the doors opened, I realized that this dream was finally coming true."
"Le Monde Touristique" showcases my world
I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. André Bouchard, a journalist for *Le Monde Touristique*, during my exhibition at Le Mirage Golf Club.
In this article, he traces my journey, my passion for nature photography, and the story behind this exhibition, which marks an important milestone in my artistic journey. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share my vision, what inspires me, and the emotions I seek to convey through each of my works.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. André Bouchard for his interest, his willingness to listen, and the quality of our conversation. It is a privilege to be able to share my world through his writing.
Behind the Scenes — Before the Doors Open
A few hours before the guests arrived, Le Mirage looked completely different.
The room was still undergoing a major transformation. My team and I were moving among the artworks, installations, and final details that needed adjusting. We had to check the heights, alignments, lighting, and viewing angles… Details that might go unnoticed once the evening began, but that could completely change the way a work of art would be experienced.
What I remember most of all is a rather unusual mix of feelings: a lot of excitement, but also a certain nervousness. For months, I had been imagining that evening in my head. And suddenly, everything that had previously existed only in our imaginations was taking shape right before my eyes.
Then came the moment when the room emptied out. No more step ladders, no more adjustments, no more coming and going. Just the artworks, suspended in space, and a few minutes of quiet before the opening.
That was probably the moment when I first realized the magnitude of what we had just created.
Glamour for Healing – When Art Meets Courage
Some causes touch us more deeply than others. “Glamour for Healing” is one of them.
When I was invited to participate in this second edition, I accepted without hesitation. Behind this event are women of incredible strength, who are facing hardships with a courage and resilience that command the utmost respect. If my art can, even for just a moment, bring a little hope or comfort—or contribute to this wonderful mission—then I feel that it truly finds its purpose.
For this occasion, I decided to donate Fragile Audacity.
This photograph holds a special place in my heart. It captures that moment when fragility and strength coexist. We sometimes tend to think they’re opposites, but to me, they complement each other. It’s possible to be deeply vulnerable while still showing immense courage.
That is precisely the message I wanted to convey to women who are living with or have gone through this illness. Their journey is often marked by moments of doubt, fear, and uncertainty, but also by remarkable determination. *Fragile Audace* is a tribute to that inner strength that keeps moving forward, even when the road is difficult.
Thanks to the support of our guests, partners, and sponsors, Nearly $80,000 was raised for the More Than a Cure Foundation and the S.E.R.E. Center — Rebuilding Lives, to support those affected by breast cancer.
I am deeply grateful to have been able to contribute, in my own way, to this evening filled with hope. Thank you to the entire team at Glamour for Healing for their hospitality, their dedication, and their big hearts.

Iceland, a Different Perspective,
beyond the mist
This summer, I had the chance to return to Iceland, a country I’d only briefly visited last year during a 24-hour stopover on my way to Greenland. That brief visit was enough to pique my curiosity and make me want to return one day to truly explore it.
This time, I set out with my daughter Maëli in a 4×4 Sprinter, eager to explore the country in a different way: more freely, further off the beaten path, and with a real sense of adventure.
And we certainly had our share of adventure.
We traveled along rugged roads, took secluded paths, and sometimes veered off the easy routes to seek out these landscapes that require a little more effort to discover.
There were sheep in the middle of the road, hikes in the mountains, numerous waterfalls, and, above all, that Icelandic weather capable of changing everything in a matter of minutes: rain, extreme wind, fog, and visibility that was sometimes almost zero.
One road, in particular, will remain etched in my memory for a long time. A narrow, steep dirt road carved into the mountainside, with a cliff plunging straight down right beside it. A single lane… but two-way traffic. Only in certain spots were there small areas where you could pull over if a vehicle was coming the other way. Otherwise, it was impossible to pass each other.
"The higher we climbed, the more impressive the road became."
I won't lie—looking down from the top of that cliff made us a little nervous. But Maëli and I love a challenge, so we kept moving forward, slowly, sometimes holding our breath, until we reached the top.
And then, after all that tension and a climb worthy of an expedition… we saw absolutely nothing.
The fog had completely engulfed the landscape.
It was almost perfect. A very Icelandic reminder that adventures don't always go as planned—and that it's often those moments that we remember the most.
Beyond the kilometers, the bad weather, and the challenges, what I’ll remember most about this trip are the moments I shared with Maëli: the fits of laughter in the Sprinter, the unexpected twists, the long drives, and that special bond that forms when you share an experience that’s completely out of the ordinary.
From a photographic standpoint, Iceland continues to fascinate me. I’ve returned with images that are rawer, sometimes more abstract, and with a desire to focus less on finding the perfect landscape and more on trying to convey what a place makes me feel.
Some of these photos will likely find their way into my upcoming collections. They’ll tell the story of Iceland, of course, but above all, they’ll carry with them the memory of a mother-daughter adventure that I’ll never forget.
The people going on the trip
An adventure like this is never built alone. Behind every project, every exhibition, and every new collection are passionate people who share my vision and who, each in their own way, help expand the world of Fanny B.
I wanted to take advantage of this first edition to introduce them to you.

When Art Meets Design
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Mélanie Boissonneault, a designer, on a vision we share: to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but that tell a story.
Incorporating a photograph into an interior does much more than simply provide a visual presence. It’s about creating a focal point, an emotion, and sometimes even a window into another world. When a work of art finds its place in a carefully designed space, the dialogue between art, architecture, and materials becomes particularly powerful.
This collaboration with Mélanie has allowed me to see my photographs from a different perspective: not only as works to be contemplated, but also as elements capable of transforming the atmosphere of a place and giving it a deeply personal identity.
I am very happy to be able to create this kind of synergy with designers who understand the importance of art in a project and who know how to give it the space it deserves.

Behind the Lens — Wild Momentum
At Étang de Caitives, a herd of white horses appeared in the distance. I knew I’d have only one chance to capture them as they passed by, but I didn’t expect to see them charging straight toward me.
"In the Camargue, this scene unfolded in a matter of seconds."
I was nervous, of course, but completely absorbed by what was happening through my viewfinder. The closer they got, the more my adrenaline rose. Then, for a split second, everything fell into place: the horses, the manes, the splashes, the movement.
And that is how it all began Wild Moose.
And when they finally passed right by me… I closed my eyes. A few seconds later, I was completely soaked from the splashes.
Today, when I look at this image, I remember both its power and the intensity of the moment it was created.
Did you know?
Sometimes your camera can capture colors that your eyes can barely perceive.
At night, our eyes are much less able to distinguish colors. That is why the Northern Lights, which appear almost white or slightly green, can reveal much more intense shades of green, red, or purple in a photograph.
By letting light in for a few seconds, the sensor gathers more information than our eye does in an instant.
So these colors aren't necessarily created by the camera: they were already there, too subtle to be fully perceived.
Sometimes, photography isn't just about showing what you see.
It means revealing what our eyes cannot see.
What's New on the Website
Finally, I invite you to check out the new photos now available on my website. I’ve added some new images to give you an even better sense of my artistic world.
Until our next stop…
The coming months will take me to new horizons, introduce me to new people, and—I hope—bring new experiences to share with you.
While we wait for our next stop, keep looking at the world with curiosity. The most beautiful stories often begin when we take the time to look.
See you soon
